VERY HARD TO FIND Baritone Style 1 Martin Ukulele. PRICE HAS BEEN REDUCED $100!! I was originally selling this uke for $1700. Book value for it lists it at $2100. This is an amazing and rare uke. It is in absolutely flawless condition. It has its original case that even has the original tag on it from the music store that it was purchased from sometime in the 50's or 60's. It was purchased at Sid Sherman Music in Chicago on Wabash. The coolest part is that I even have the original price tags that were hanging on it in the music store.

In addition to this being a super collector's piece, it is also a truly great sounding and playing instrument. I would sure love it if the purchaser wasn't just a collector but was someone who would play this instrument and really get the joy of playing ths great uke. The sound is amazing. The age is a little hard to pin point since Martin Guitars didn't serial number their ukes, but based on the fact that my father said he received it from a friend of his in the mid 1950's, the copyright on the book, the tags on the case, the tuning pegs used, everything I can find on the internet, and what a guy told me in a Tobias guitar store here in the Chicago area, it is definitely at least a 1950 uke and possibly a bit older. However, I was told that Martin only started making Baritones in the early 60's so it might be from the early 60's. I was also told by one collector that they only ever made a few hundred of these baritone models, and because of that they are quite valuable.

Do not miss out on this instrument. Ukes like this come around only a couple of times in a lifetime.

Either email me questions or give me a call Thanks, Thom 815-236-9180. You can also see many more pictures of both ukes I am selling on my Facebook page. Search Thom Dixon and then click on my ukulele photos.

SHIPPING NOTE: SHIPPING FEES WILL BE CALCULATED AFTER SOMEONE PURCHASES THE UKULELE. I WILL ONLY CHARGE YOU EXACTLY WHAT I AM CHARGED FOR THE BOX AND SHIPPING. I WILL SUPPLY INVOICES IF YOU WOULD LIKE. SOMETHING LIKE THIS SHOULD BE PACKAGED VERY CAREFULLY AND SHIIPPED WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
